Claude skills starter pack

Three skills for freelancers and small business owners:
1. reply-writer: drafts a reply to a client message in your voice
2. meeting-notes-to-tasks: turns messy call notes into tasks, decisions and a follow-up email
3. proposal-draft: writes a one page proposal from call notes

Each folder is one skill. The file that matters is SKILL.md.

Claude Code: copy the folders into ~/.claude/skills/ (all projects) or .claude/skills/ inside one project. Then type the skill name as a slash command, for example /reply-writer, and paste your text after it. Claude also picks a skill by itself when your request matches its description.

Claude app: zip one skill folder on its own (the folder with SKILL.md inside) and upload it where your plan lets you add skills. The individual zips on the site are made for this. We tested the skills in Claude Code, not the upload screens of the app, so if that screen differs on your plan, the fallback below always works.

Fallback that works anywhere: open SKILL.md, copy everything below the three dashes at the top, paste it into a normal chat, then paste your text under it.

reply-writer reads voice.md in its own folder. Replace the text in that file with your voice sheet (see the file for the fast way to make one). Without it, replies are plain first-name replies.
