Crash Test, a free Claude skill
malda_systems | free resource | Tested in Claude Code on 11 October 2026

Crash Test puts an idea through five reviewers (the Buyer, the Skeptic, the Copycat, the Worker, the Stranger). Each votes BUILD, FIX or DROP. Then the Coach decides: BUILD IT, FIX FIRST or PARK IT, and names the cheapest test you can run this week.

The file that matters is crash-test/SKILL.md.

Claude Code: copy the crash-test folder into ~/.claude/skills/ (all projects) or .claude/skills/ inside one project. Then type /crash-test and describe your idea after it. Claude also picks the skill by itself when you ask if an idea is worth doing.

Claude app: zip the crash-test folder on its own and upload it where your plan lets you add skills. We tested in Claude Code, not the upload screens of the app, so if that screen differs on your plan, use the fallback below.

Fallback that works anywhere: open SKILL.md, copy everything below the three dashes at the top, paste it into a normal chat, then describe your idea under it.

It only knows what you tell it. The more real numbers you give (price, hours, who you talked to), the sharper the verdict. It does not replace talking to real customers, it tells you which conversation to have first.
